Is it okay to do this with baby quail?

I have a 2 week old baby quail that I rescued on my driveway the day after she was born, her and her buddy weren't even moving because of the frost. Anyways, yesterday her buddy passed away because of a grackle that got a hold of its poor little neck. But to my excitement, I found another quail nest in my yard that has 10 eggs. I'm thinking about that when they are born I am going to steal a baby for my poor little one. (She won't stop peeping in her box of loneness). I know some are going to pass away and fall in my pool like they always do, so I just want to take 1. What do you guys think?
