What has gone wrong with my daddy day care?

Inspired by the Eddie Murphy Comedy of the same name. Five years ago I decided to make a day care. But lately on occasion (about 5 times a week)I leave for some much needed me time. So I obligated responsibilities to most of the kids. They are eager to help as long as they don't tell their parents. But recently The oldest kid 10 years was making lunch for everyone and burned her hand, and this was no minor burn either. So now I got caught and I lost my job, license and basically my whole life. How can i show these parents that I am responsible?
